Community Keeps Showing up for Shoreline

This fall has been a powerful reminder of how deeply our community cares about accessible, people-centered health care on the Saanich Peninsula. From creative campaigns to golf tournaments and anniversary BBQs, local businesses and community members continue to step up in meaningful ways to support Shoreline Medical and our Youth Clinic.

Linen for a Cause with Butik Naturals

Butik Naturals has led the way with their Linen for a Cause initiative, donating $10,000 to support the Youth Clinic. Their gift is a powerful example of how local businesses can weave philanthropy into their everyday work—helping ensure young people on the Peninsula have a safe, supportive place to turn for care.

Golfing for a Cause

Earlier this month, Michelle and Rob from Beacon Realty Group rallied golfers together for a tournament that combined fun, community spirit, and fundraising for Shoreline. Their efforts showed what’s possible when community leaders lend their passion and creativity to local health care.

A Community BBQ for Youth Mental Health

Red Barn Market marked their one-year anniversary on September 27 with a community BBQ that did more than just serve up great food. Partial proceeds from the day were donated to Shoreline’s Youth Clinic, with incredible support from North Saanich Canadian Tire, Torque Masters, Peninsula Panthers, Firehouse Subs Sandown, Higgis, Noodle Box Sandown, Q100, rising star Chase Varnes, and the ever-talented face painter Susi McMillan.

Building Primary Care Together

These efforts are part of a growing movement: neighbours, businesses, and community partners who know that strong primary care is at the heart of a healthy community.  A special thank you to Sue Hodgson of the Seaside Magazine for her advocacy role in contributing to these events.

If you’d like to join them—whether by hosting an event, making a gift, or simply sharing Shoreline’s story—get in touch. Together, we can build the future of health care on the Saanich Peninsula.
