24-Hour Run Fundraiser to support Saanich Peninsula Youth Clinic.

On July 19, Central Saanich Police Service Corporal Pat Bryant and Police Board Member Sarah Riddell — who also serves as Director of Development with Shoreline Medical Society — will run for 24 hours to raise funds for the Saanich Peninsula Youth Clinic.

Pat and Sarah will complete a 4.64 km loop of Centennial Park every hour on the hour — for 24 consecutive hours. You’re invited to cheer them on, join them for a lap or two, or make a donation to support the cause.

Operated by Shoreline Medical Society, the Saanich Peninsula Youth Clinic is the only clinic of its kind for youth aged 12–24 on the Peninsula. Open Thursday evenings, with physician appointments available Friday mornings, the clinic provides a safe, confidential space for primary care, mental health counselling, sexual health services, and other supports — all free of charge. The clinic is funded almost entirely through community donations and volunteer contributions.

“We knew Sarah would bring lots of energy to the team — I’m not sure we expected this much!” says Leslie Keenan, Executive Director of Shoreline Medical Society. “We’re so proud of Sarah and Pat, and we hope the community will support them — and the Youth Clinic.”

Every donation helps ensure this vital service can continue.
