We are certainly facing an unprecedented situation, and as such we are writing to inform you of the changes we are immediately implementing at both Shoreline Sidney and Shoreline Brentwood Clinics.
This is in response to the newest guidelines that are being recommended by our Ministry of Health and our local Health Authority. Our number one goal is to keep everyone healthy. This requires minimizing the exposure risk to the COVID-19 virus by limiting contact to only those patients that require a physical exam.
Shoreline Medical has made the decision to provide ONLY telehealth visits to all patients. This includes all pre-booked appointments. Do not come to the office. Your doctor will phone you at the time of your scheduled appointment. During your Telehealth appointment, you and your doctor will make a plan regarding next steps.
If you need to book an appointment, either call the office or preferably book a telehealth appointment through Health Myself online using the “Telehealth” or “Phone Call” appointment type. If you are not registered for Health Myself, don’t worry, you can still book online by visiting our website and clicking on the “book appointment” option OR by clicking on this link below:

If you do not have a family doctor and require a Walk-in Clinic visit – please call either of our clinics and we will endeavour to provide a Telehealth appointment with one of our physicians.
Please be patient with us as we are receiving over 3,000 telephone calls per day.
We have been getting a lot of questions about the Novel Coronavirus. Please go to the BCCDC link below for the most accurate and up-to-date information. We encourage you to do the self-assessment quiz to determine if you need testing and follow the instructions for self-isolation.
The Public Health Agency of Canada has set up a novel coronavirus information line at: 1-833-784-4397.
The most important things we can all do now are social distancing, diligent handwashing with soap and water and self-isolation for 14 days if you have ANY cough/cold symptoms. If you have mild symptoms, you do not need to see a doctor to determine if you have Coronavirus, isolate yourself for 14 days and treat it the same way you would treat other viruses. If your symptoms become severe, go to the nearest Emergency Room and call ahead.
Stay healthy! Your Shoreline Team.
