On March 12, 2018, Peninsula Medical was featured in an article published by the Peninsula News Review.
When the walk-in youth clinic first opened last June, it was only intended to be a 2 month long project. Instead of concluding after that duration, it stayed open for six months! Now, it’s reopening at Peninsula Medical. Journalist Hugo Wong has told the first half of a two-part story for PNR.
“If we had applied ourselves to gain non-profit status, it would take maybe a year or two,” said Evans. “This way, we’re working under the umbrella of Peninsula Medical and they already have that status, so we’ll be able to accept donations quite soon.”
